"Deb has created several beautiful pieces for our home. All of the pieces she has done for us have been original designs; created from requests we have made. We’re always pleased with the exquisite quality and craftsmanship she produces with each piece she creates."

The biggest price consideration for stained glass windows is the number of pieces in the window. Because the process is labor intensive, the amount of time required to build a window gets magnified by the number of pieces in the window. Great care needs to be taken from the initial design phase, for windows larger than 4 square feet. Here are the general steps though, for most windows.

Green Process - At Artistik glass I try to be as environment friendly as I can. All my work is done in my home so that I don't have to drive to a studio. Some of my work has been moved to a room with lots of sunlight, so extra electricity for lighting doesn't need to be used during the day; I purchase recycled paper products for cleaning windows and have my literature printed on recycled paper when available.

Value - At Artistik Glass, I respect that getting the best value for your dollar is important. For this reason, I build quality windows to last multiple lifetimes. To accomplish this I install all windows over $100.00 in 2" solid oak frames that are specially build for stained glass windows. These frames are doweled and glued; then 8 screws are used to mount the hangers to the oak frame for hanging, and lastly, the strongest, thickest chain the stained glass industry provides, to hang your window.

Special Note - All oak mounted windows are finished with a copper finish that usually isn't seen in the initial pictures. To illustrate this, the following two pictures are of the same window; the first picture shows the glass colors and the second window shows the copper finish that are on all windows over $100.00 from Artistik Glass, as well as the correct color of the oak frames."
