Semi-custom
I leave pictures of sold pieces on my site to help customers see the variety
of windows that I have built. You might find window you like but would
prefer different colors and this can usually be done for the same price
as the original window. It usually does not change the cost of a window
to change a glass selection to something that will match your home or
office, but when the design or size changes, that would be considered
full custom work because a new design pattern and template pieces need
to be created.

Custom work *
When a new size or pattern is created to match your needs, there are several
considerations. First is where the window will be placed and if it will
be in a standard oak frame, or custom fit an opening in your home. If
the window will fit in a standard frame, the price to change size is approximately
$120.00 for new pattern design and template, depending on revisions, plus
increased supplies and labor to build the window. If it is a custom size
for the home or office, you would supply the measurements much like you
measure for blinds, taking three measurements each, horizontally and vertically
and using the smallest of each.
*The largest price consideration in any stained glass window is the number
of pieces in the window. |
